                             WILD HORSES

This series is dedicated to horses.

Not as portraits, but as presences shaped by movement, instinct and memory.

Rooted in the landscapes of the Camargue, these horses inhabit the fragile space between freedom and restraint. They carry endurance, vulnerability and a quiet strength that unfolds within the group.

Most works are centred on the white horses of the Camargue. One painting, marked by an intense red presence, responds to the Australian bushfires and introduces a different emotional register into the series.

Built in layered surfaces of acrylic, gauze and oxidation media, the paintings explore transformation and impermanence. Forms emerge, dissolve and reappear, suspended between matter and movement.

The horse becomes a witness to vitality, resilience and the enduring connection between living beings and the natural world.
